Jasmine Mitchell, guitar student

Jasmine Mitchell is a graphics design major at Queens College and as it happens, is also a former professional clown! Unfortunately, when her entertainment company closed for renovations, the owner decided to close the business altogether.

Following this loss, Jasmine’s school expenses became too burdensome to continue with her music lessons until her teacher at Sage Music suggested she trade volunteer work for more lessons.

Thanks to the kindness and ingenuity of Sage Music, Jasmine is continuing to learn the guitar with Jason today. Sage Music was also able to help Jasmine find more work with our partner PLAY Greenpoint, at our Brooklyn music school location.
