Types of Trumpet Lessons
The trumpet has found a home in so many different musical styles. These are some of the more common lessons we are asked to provide. If you don't see your style, get in touch as we may offer it, too.
Jazz Trumpet Lessons
When studying the jazz trumpet, you'll learn to get a brighter sound that cuts through the band. In addition, there will be emphasis on sight reading, learning large numbers of tunes by ear, and how to improvise.
Mariachi Trumpet Lessons
Not surprising, there are a lot of mariachi trumpet players in Queens, NY and in San Antonio, TX where we have our school locations. We teach more than the standard classical rep, so if you want to develop your mariachi trumpet skills, we'll help you along.
Classical Trumpet Lessons
Symphonic Band and Marching Band are big news in middle schools, high schools, and some colleges. Many of our trumpet students take lessons to improve their skills to be better placed in these bands.
